Residents can be referred to Stonycreek Residential after receiving a psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual – Fourth Edition (DSM-IV) with Axes I – V. Children suffering from disorders in nearly all psychiatric categories can participate in the program. When appropriate, children and adolescents with a Mental Health/Mental Retardation dual diagnosis and others with multiple disorders can also be considered for admission.
